Internet Marketing Secrets..... Can this stuff really make you millions?
|
You have arrived at the Internet marketing section of Secrets You Should Know. Here you will find all kinds of good stuff about how it is possible to make a lot of money with web based business ideas.
A lot of people have this thing where everything on the net has to be free. We are quite prepared to pay to have some guy fix our car, our TV, or our computer. Then we log on, and suddenly we expect everything for nothing. Why is this? Is it because 'virtual' information isn't as 'real' as buying a book? It may be because some people make a living out of 'hacking' or 'cracking' different sites and making the information there available for free, and we, as the public, have come to expect that this is the 'norm'. Now don't get us wrong, we are not about to ask you for money. What we are saying is that there is really no such thing as a free lunch. If you take the ideas contained here and do nothing, then no matter how great the concept, you will get nothing out of it. If you take just one of the ideas and run with it, believe in it, and put 100 % into it, then the world is your oyster.
If you have surfed the net for a while lately, you will have no doubt seen all the ads for making money. Mostly, the schemes these ads promote are not viable online businesses. Pay-to-surf sites are many and varied, and all claim that the user can make good money while online. Some require you to use their browser, some require you to click certain banners. Most will pay appallingly low money. As it has transpired most are either scams or next-to-useless business models. We know of many people who have spent hours surfing only to be told that the rules have changed, or the fee structure has changed. The bottom line is that they receive no money at all. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands we would advise against such schemes.
Other fast money opportunities are pyramid schemes, which often claim.. 'no selling, no products, no pay-to-surf, no referrals yadda yadda yadda'. We tend to think, if there's no anything, then what do they want you to do? What they want is you in their 'downline'. If you decide to join one of these schemes, you will naturally be fired up about it and tell everyone you know. They will (hopefully) want to join too, and then when they pay their money (usually very low, under 20 dollars) you and everyone in your 'upline' benefits. Of course, some people do very well out of these schemes, normally the people who start it. Due to the exponential growth of a pyramid, it isn't long before you have more people selling than there are people buying, and the whole thing goes down the gurgler, (normally right after I bought in.... Ed.). Pretty soon, another scheme will start up, usually with a different name (hey look, Malibu Stacey has a new hat!) and the whole process repeats itself, with only the very first people making any money. Most times, it is the very same people starting the scam, and they earn good money from it. If you want to run one of these systems, then by all means go for it, there are plenty of running schemes for you to emulate, but be prepared for madder-than-hell punters who will track you down and extract their money's worth.
We then get into the MLM field. MLM is multi level marketing, and this is what most plain ole garden type pyramid schemes purport to be. True MLM is different though. It operates as a whole, without losing people along the way like a pyramid type scheme. Amway is a classic MLM system. Lots of people selling, moving up the ladder to the next tier, becoming wholesalers, then up to suppliers, until they aren't doing anything except sitting on their yacht in the Bahamas counting their money. The only thing is that they have to have hundreds of people under them selling selling selling to make themselves, and their upline, money. As we can imagine, soon there are more people selling the product than there are interested in buying it. Sound familiar? Tupperware parties, Lingerie parties and Avon all work on these kinds of themes. A lot of people have become very rich from selling this way. The sad thing is that there are many many more who slave away, barely making any money. Still, this is a more 'honourable' system than a pure pyramid scheme. At least everyone knows who is in their upline and there is a definable (and sometimes even useful) 'product' sold.
Most businesses online follow similar paths. They may have elements of MLM, pyramid or sales schemes. So what is the most sought after product online? If you guessed pornography you guessed wrong. Software takes out the grand prize. Sex comes in third, after information. Software accounts for about 70% of online purchases. Information about 20% and Sex a measly 5%. So, if you can sell information about where to buy sex oriented software you would be pretty much in the money! Seriously though, this isn't a silly idea. (we expect a commission from any new businesses using this secret system..... Ed.). The Internet has revolutionised buying and selling. Take those infomercials on TV. The guys who dreamt up those things have made billions out of that industry. Anyone with a little money can sell even the crappiest of products and make a whole heap of money out of it. The advent of credit card phone ordering was one of the greatest advances in shopping this century. And now, we have secure online ordering. This means that you can buy everything from sex to ordinations right from your computer desk. Online auctions, newsgroups, advertising, newspapers, magazines, ezines, retail, wholesale, government surplus... the list is as endless as there are ideas out there. Basically, we are looking at the Internet for all our communication, business and personal needs. To the people are in the know, there is gold in them thar hills. All you need is the right product, the right information, and the motivation to succeed, and you can be making not just a living, but a seriously good living right from where you are sitting reading this.
We intend to show you how you can take an idea, and with the right guidance, make a living out of marketing it online. If you don't succeed at first, then use what we are teaching as a foundation for future efforts. We all have to start somewhere, and if you take your time, keep an open mind and stay motivated, you will gain the skills necessary to create an online business you can run from home.
